I copped this earlier today. YES!!!!!
The hundreds are over, and now its tie for a whole new decade of the tens and teens. We kick off 2010 with a cover story on leading contemporary artist Kehinde Wiley, a longtime favorite of the Juxtapoz family. Contributing editor Joey Garfield sat down with Kehinde late in 2009 year to examine the past and present work of this gifted artist. We think its one of the best interviews we have had in the magazine. We go far and wide for the rest of January 2010, with Singapore's Phunk Studio, Tokyo's infamous photographer Yone, Los Angeles-based filmmaker and fine artist Mike Mills, San Francisco based artist Jason Jagel, and and New York-based multimedia artist Joshua Davis. And we catch up with director Harry Kim, who had to put up with David Choe for about 10 years whilst filming the documentary, "Dirty Hands."
